What's the message you want to convey to your audience?
I am an experienced non-fiction editor specialising in spirituality, faith, women’s lives, education and the social sciences. I work with authors, researchers and organisations to develop ideas and take first drafts to cohesive and engaging books and publication.
My editorial portfolio includes books which required substantial developmental and structural editing, including restructuring chapters; refining concepts, line editing for clarity, voice and readability. When requested I have reshaped content and written chapter features and supporting material, including front matter and back matter.
Alongside book editing, I am a published author and have experience working on research projects, education and social sciences publications. This extends to producing written material for NGOs and charities.
My approach is collaborative and sensitive to the author's voice and audience. I work on bringing clarity, consistency and structure while preserving what makes the publication distinctive. I particularly enjoy working on creative non-fiction and research exploring spirituality, faith, women's experiences as well as projects for organisations seeking to communicate complex ideas and research, accurately and accessibly.
